Dear All:

Our former colleague, geometer and combinatorialist
Jill Yaqub passed away yesterday. She had no relatives in
town. I do not have any further information at this time.

The following notice appeared in the Columbus Dispatch.

Jill C.D. Spencer Yaqub, Ph.D., age 70, Monday, May 6, 2002 at her home.
Retired Professor, Department of Mathematics, The Ohio State University.
Born in Gloustershire, England. Preceded in death by husband Dr. Mohammad Yaqub.
Survived by several cousins in Great Britain and Australia. Memorial Service
Monday 2 p.m. at SOUTHWICK-GOOD FUNERAL CHAPEL, 3100 N. High St. (1 block N. of
Weber Rd.). Dr. Alan D. Wendt officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions if
desired may be made to the Mathematics Department of OSU, 231 W. 18th Ave. #130
Math Tower, Columbus, Oh. 43210, in memory of Jill Yaqub.
