I am currently a Principal Engineer at Honeywell Engines & Systems. My current job is Leader, Engineering Mechanics Technology Council. I work with this division's 225 stress and life prediction engineers, improving the methods used to design better airplane components. My time in the OSU Math department prepared me very well. Thanks.

Xiaojing Li

MS Math 95, BS Math 90, Wuhan University

I worked for a data mining company, then a network company now. Both need strong mathematics background. Wuhan University gave me a solid mathematics foundation. OSU, especially, Prof. Overman has encouraged me to think how to apply mathematics into the real world.

The current project is network system anomaly detection. Of course, it is very complicated system involving statistical modeling, pattern recognition, prediction method. Oh, Yeah, it's A Math!
