Radha Kessar, alumna of the Ross Program and 1995 O.S.U. Math Department PhD, will share the 2009 Berwick Prize of the London Mathematical Society with her co-author, Joe Chuang, for their paper, "Symmetric groups, wreath products, Morita equivalences, and Broue''s abelian defect group conjecture," Bull. London Math. Soc. 34 (2002), 174--184. Radha is currently on the faculty of the University of Aberdeen, Scotland.
