COURSE INSTRUCTOR - Instructors are available during office hours or other times, by appointment. Evening instructors should be available before or after class. " Professors are often lonely during office hours. Make their day by dropping in."

MATH-STAT LEARNING CENTER (MSLC) - offers free tutoring for almost all courses Elementary Algebra through Differential Equations.  A quiet study area and a group study area are also available.  Many course-specific special seminars are offered during the year as well.  Clicking on the link will provide times and locations for all of these.

Instructional Videos - Videos are available for Math 050, 075, 104, and 148 that correspond to the sections of the appropriate textbooks.  These videos can be checked out at the MSLC main office in 148B Cockins Hall.  See Richard Brown.

TUTORIAL SOFTWARE - Tutorial software for math 050 and 075 may be used in the computer lab/math 050, 075 tutor room which is CH 042.

TUTORS - An individual or group could hire a tutor. A list of Math Tutors is available each quarter at the receptionist counter in the Math Tower. Students should look over the information provided (charges and courses taught) and contact a tutor directly.


SAMPLE EXAMS - Review problems and sample exam questions for some courses 150 and below can be found by clicking here then clicking on a specific course.


MATH COUNSELING OFFICE - Although not available in the evening, this office is staffed by three mathematics counselors, Monday - Thursday, 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. and Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. (reduced hours during breaks). They are located in 250 Math Building and may be of assistance in placement, retesting, and general difficulties and concerns related to math courses.



DROPPING BACK TO A LOWER CLASS - Need to see the Math Counselors to do this.  More information is at the link.
