No calculators, computers, slide rules, mathematical tables, or other mechanical, electrical, or electronic computing aids may be used during this examination.

Eligibility to take the exam

A contestant must be enrolled as an undergraduate student at OSU, or as an Academy student.

Eligibility for the separate contests:

For the Rasor contest, the contestant must:
(a) not have been enrolled in a college for more than one year, and
(b) not have passed Mathematics honors course H264 or higher,
nor Math 263 nor math 254, and
(c) not be ranked as a junior or above.
No one may receive a prize more than once in a Rasor contest.

For the Bareis contest, the contestant must:
(a) not have been enrolled in a college for more than two years, and
(b) not have passed Mathematics honors course H522 or higher,
nor Math 548 nor Math 582, and
(c) not be ranked as a senior or above.
No one may receive a prize more than once in a Bareis contest.

For the Gordon contest, the contestant must:
not have already competed in these contests four times.
