2006 Rasor-Bareis-Gordon Exam

RASOR - first year math students

BAREIS - second year math students

GORDON - advanced math students

up to $1500 in prizes

SATURDAY, February 18, 1-4 pm, EA 170
(18th Ave classroom building, or the Math Annex; 209 West 18th Ave)


Eligibility to take the exam

A contestant must be enrolled as an undergraduate student at OSU, or as an Academy student.

Eligibility for the separate contests:

For the Rasor contest, the contestant must:
(a) not have been enrolled in a college for more than one year, and
(b) not have passed Mathematics H264 or equivalent, and
(c) not have ranked as a junior or above.
No one may receive a prize more than once in a Razor contest.

For the Bareis contest, the contestant must:
(a) not have been enrolled in a college for more than two years, and
(b) not have passed Mathematics H522 or equivalent, and
(c) not have ranked as a senior or above.
No one may receive a prize more than once in a Bareis contest.

For the Gordon contest, the contestant must:
not have already competed in these contests four times.
