Imaging sciences which have become almost ubiquitous in modern life consist of three relatively independent components: image acquisition, image processing, and image interpretation. In this talk, I will give an overview to different problems arise from imaging sciences and introduce mathematical approaches to resolve these problems. The talk will conclude with some real world applications.
