The Autumn 2007 quarter was my first quarter at Ohio State. I graduated from the University of Maryland in Spring of 2007.

For the Winter 2008 quarter, I am teaching Math 162 (Accelerated Calculus w/ Analytic Geometry II). Below I have listed the course information with a link to the course syllabus.

12795-A: Math 162--Accelerated Calculus & Analytic Geometry II--MWF 0930a--HC (Hopkins Hall) 0262

The recitation sections for this course are as follows:

Both of these are taught by the course teaching assistant Marko Samara.

Tutoring--The Math & Statistics Learning Center (MSLC) offers tutoring services for most classes through differential equations. Click here for all the relevant information on this service as well as other tutoring opportunities. I highly encourage using this service if you have questions and cannot make it to my office hours.

Homework Assignments--This section is devoted to keeping a record of the problems that I assign at the end of each lecture. I may update it prior to class or immediately after I teach. If I forget and you need to know the problem set, just email me.

NEW!--01/04/2008--Please not that some of the important dates for Winter Quarter have been changed since the syllabus was published. The new information below is correct, the syllabus is not! In particular, the various drop deadlines have been altered.

Important Dates:

NEW!--01/24/2008--Below, there is a link to both versions of last quarter's Math 153 exam 1. As mentioned in class, these exams cover the same material as you will be responsible for on this quarter's exam 1. It is also worth mentioning the following points that were discussed in class:

NEW!--01/24/2008--We will be having an exam review on Tuesday, January 29th, from 5:30pm-7:30pm in Boyd Laboratory (BL) 0205. Don't forget to bring your questions, since I will only prepare a limited amount of material beforehand.

NEW!--01/29/2008--The following is a link to a handout that contains the various topics that one should know for Exam 1. Click here for the handout in .pdf format.

NEW!--02/15/2008--The following contains links to both versions of Exam 2 from last quarter's Math 153 course. Our Exam 2 will cover the exact same material as last quarter. I was exceedingly pleased with this exam, since people seemed to finish in time and it tested the concepts that I feel are most important.

NEW!--02/19/2008--We will be having an exam review on Tuesday, February 26th, from 5:30pm-7:30pm in Smith Laboratory (SM) 3094. Don't forget to bring your questions so that we can work on precisely the material that you want to see.

NEW!--02/23/2008--The following contains links to some solutions to both versions of Exam 2 from last quarter's Math 153 course.

NEW!--02/25/2008--The following is a link to a handout that contains the various topics that one should know for Exam 2. Click here for the handout in .pdf format.

NEW!--03/03/2008--The following contains links to both versions the final exam from last quarter's Math 153 course. Our final exam will cover the exact same material as last quarter. However, don't expect our final exam to be as similar to last quarters as our Exam 2 was to last quarter's Exam 2. I have definitely emphasized some concepts differently this quarter than last quarter, so the exams might test some material differently. Ultimately, these sample exams should NOT be your only tool for studying for the final. You should also study the previous exams from our quarter as well as the various homework assignments.

NEW!--03/06/2008--The following is a link to a handout that contains some information about the content of the final exam including the topics to be covered. Click here for the handout in .pdf format.
