Course Plan: The plan is to cover Chapters 10--13 of the textbook. We will attempt to follow the weekly plan listed below.

Exam Policy:

1. Exams will be taken with closed books, no reference and no calculator.
2. You must take exams on time; Make-up exams can be allowed only in very unusual circumstance, and you must discuss with me in advance.
3. Calculators of any kind are not allowed in any exam.
4. Students must bring their OSU ID to all exams.

Midterm Exam: There will be two in-class midterms.
First midterm: The first midterm will be on October 19 (Monday), in class. It covers Sections 11.1--11.9.
