Textbook: The Fundamentals of Higher Mathematics by N. Falkner (available at OSU bookstores, Barnes & Noble, and SBX). Since many revisions have been made in the past summer, be sure to acquire the lastest edition designed for the semester-long course.

Description: The main goal of this course is to help you learn the fundamentals of how to read and write mathematical proofs. Topics to be covered in this course includes basics of mathematical logic, methods of mathematical proofs, theory of sets, etc. We will closely follow the textbook.
