[Wednesday Tour]    [Friday Battlefield Tour]    [Accompanying Persons]

 Wednesday Tour

All conference tours are for Wednesday afternoon, July 15, 1998 and are included in the conference fee.  Please indidicate your first, second, and third choices on the registration form. Assignment is on a first come first serve basis.  For tour #1 there is a limit of 45 people, if you choose this tour please indicate your meal preference.

Tour #1: Longwood Gardens (DuPont Estate featuring spectacular landscaped gardens and an indoor seasonal display) with dinner at the Sly Fox Micro Brewery in Phoenixville, PA. Dinner choices are: prime rib or beef, chicken entree, or fish entree.

Tour #2:  The Amish Country of Lancaster County, PA Bus Tour with a meal served family style at an Amish farmhouse.

Tour #3:  Enjoy the Lancaster County countryside with a trip on the historic Strasburg Railroad (steam locomotive) followed by a dinner

Tour #4:  Baltimore, Maryland’s Inner Harbor.  Bus to Baltimore Aquarium and nearby sites.  Enjoy a seafood buffet featuring Maryland crab at Phillips Harborplace Seafood House

Tour #5: Two hour bus tour of Washington, D.C. sights followed by a drop off at the Smithsonian Museum.  Dine on a buffet dinner during  the return trip to Gettysburg

Tour #6:  Bus to Hershey Park (Amusement Park, Zoo & Chocolate World) in Hershey, PA.  Includes a catered ‘Picnic Buffet Special’ at the park.



Friday Battlefield Tour
 
All conference battlefield bus tour is for Friday, July 17, 1998. Following the last conference session and lunch, board busses for a two hour tour of the scene of one of the most important battles of the United States Civil War - The Gettysburg Battlefield.



Accompanying Individuals Social Program

The following tour is for accompanying individuals and is included in the optional fee for accompanying individuals. Please indicate on the registration form how many of the accompany-ing individuals plan to participate.

Thursday - July 16, 1998: Bus to the Biglerville Apple Museum and a tour of beautiful Buchanan Valley.  Family style lunch at the Hickory Bridge Farm followed by a tour of an apple packing house.
