Inventor of the Graphing Calculator:

Casio Japan invented the graphing calculator, the Casio FX-7000, in 1985. The lead engineer on the Casio 7000 development team was Hideshi Fukaya. He is pictured below at the NCTM annual meeting, in San Francisco, April 22, 1999, shaking hands with Bert Waits. The others in the photo are John Kenelly, Clemson University, and Yoshihiko Fukuda of Casio Japan.
